Refund policy

All sales are FINAL. Home Sweet Home Gifts & Décor does not issue refunds, exchanges or store credit. 

Home Sweet Home Gifts & Décor is a company that operates with honesty and integrity in everything we do. We believe in providing our customers with specific product details and descriptions to help and assist with their purchasing process. 

If an item is advertised with a disclaimer it is at the sole discretion of the customer to purchase. In doing so, items sold are considered final sale and may not be refunded, returned or exchanged.

There are only TWO circumstances in which a customer may be issued a refund, exchange, or store credit and that is only if a customer has received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item due to the fault of Home Sweet Home Gifts & Décor, or unless a system glitch or outage occurs that affects the automated inventory count system where a customer orders something that is no longer in stock in which the system fails to update. Both instances are a rarity, however in such instances we are prepared to provide the best customer service possible in efforts to ensure a pleasurable experience with our company as the complete satisfaction of our customers is our main priority.  

If the items you received are damaged or incorrect please contact us immediately. Do not keep damaged or incorrect merchandise for longer than 48 hours. Email customer service homesweethomegd@aol.com with the subject: Defective Item(s) along with a description and photo of the defective item(s). If this information is not received within 48 hours of receipt of your order, this disqualifies you from any possible refund, exchange or store credit.

Please understand that Home Sweet Home Gifts & Décor is not responsible for items damaged by mail carriers or unforeseen circumstances such as traumatic weather forces.

Refunds
In the event you are eligible for a refund, we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items).  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
